Biography

A student at UL, Thomas first played football in primary school. He sees the long range kick pass as the most important skill in football, and his best sporting memory outside of playing is the Cork Senior Footballers' All-Ireland Final win in 2010. As a player, the highlights have been winning the 2009 County Senior Football title with his club and winning the Munster Minor Final in 2010. Ciaran McDonald (Mayo) is the greatest player he has ever seen, and if there was a transfer market in football, he would buy Donegal's Michael Murphy. Hurling and soccer are his favourite sports besides football. He considers the mobile phone to be the best invention ever, and in ten years' time, hopes to be still playing football with Clon and hopefully winning championships.
