A business analyst, Brian first played hurling in the Carmelite College Castlemartyr aged 8. He believes first touch is the most important skill in hurling, and if he could change anything about the GAA, it would be the club fixtures schedule. His best hurling memory outside of playing is Cork's 1999 All-Ireland win, while as a player, the highlight so far was winning the East Cork title with his club in 2009. Brian Corcoran is the greatest player he has ever seen, and if there was a transfer market, he would buy Tony Kelly. Other than hurling, his favourite sports are soccer, rugby and NFL, and his favourite film is 'The Shawshank Redemption'. As a child he wanted to be Roy Keane, and the person he would most like to meet is Ray Lewis.
