Biography

One of the younger players on the panel, Aidan is from Kanturk and was a member of the 2011 International Rules squad. The holder of two All-Stars, he is 6'3 in height and is a student at CIT. A former dual player, he has won Munster titles in Minor hurling and football, as well as Munster and All-Ireland U21 Football medals, captaining Cork in their record 2011 Munster U21 Final victory over Kerry, and was a member of the 2010 All-Ireland Football winning team. He first played football at home with his father, and not surprisingly lists hurling as his favourite sport other than football. As a child he wanted to be a PE teacher, and he is also good at hurley-making. He considers the mobile phone to be the best invention ever, and would like to meet Muhammed Ali. In ten years' time, he hopes to be alive!
