The Ballydesmond man has won numerous honours at club and county level, including a County Minor Football title, Munster and All-Ireland Junior Football medals and three Munster Senior Football Championships. He made his inter-county debut against Dublin in 2006, and fittingly it was his penalty against Dublin in 2010 that swung the All-Ireland Semi-Final in Cork's favour. He believes the catch is the most important skill in football, and his favourite other sport is handball. He's also good at pool! His best football memory outside of playing was the 1990 All-Ireland Final, and he considers Peter Canavan to be the greatest player he has ever seen. In ten years' time, he hopes to be the holder of three or four All-Ireland medals.
