Biography

Occupation: Self Employed. Schools/College Attended - Maynooth University, Cork Institute of Technology, St Aidans. Position- Defender. A former Cork Minor Captain. His favourite sports other than hurling are soccer and boxing, and as a child he wanted to be Muhammed Ali. He first start playing hurling in Glenheights Park and the biggest influence on his hurling career has been his club Glen Rovers. The sporting event he would most like to attend is Superbowl. To date his favourite moment in sport is winning 1st senior county with the Glen Rovers. Favourite Venue: Bottom pitch Glen rovers. Favourite G.A.A. player: Tommy Walsh and he would buy him if there was a transfer market in hurling. He think is the most important skill in hurling is mindset. The sportsperson he would most like to meet is Jon Jones. The hardest part of his sporting life is time commitments. Toughest player to mark in training is Pa Keane. The ‘joker’ on the paneL is Lorcan McLoughlin although he is the butt of all the jokes more often than not. Takes 4 hours to eat a chicken fillet. If he won the lotto the first thing he would buy is The GAA. Favourite holiday destination: New York City. Favourite Food: Chocolate. Favourite Drink: Pina Colada. Favourite Music: Old Skool. Favourite Film: Home Alone. In ten years time he hope to be: Still 83kg One thing you may not know about him…… he obsessed with nature and he also claims to be good at dancing... Marooned on a desert island, he would not be without his ipod.
