Cork County Board is pleased to announce that Conor Counihan has accepted a further two-year term as Senior Football manager.
Selectors Ger O'Sullivan, Terry O'Neill and Jim Nolan will not be going forward for a variety of reasons, including work commitments and the length of time they have already committed to these roles. In making this announcement, Conor Counihan expressed his immense gratitude to all three for the phenomenal service they have given to Cork football, both under his management and under other managers before him.
Due to these changes, it is expected that it will be some weeks before the full team of selectors is announced.
"We are delighted that Conor has decided to accept the offer of a further term, and we would like to thank Ger O'Sullivan, Terry O'Neill and Jim Nolan for their huge contribution to Cork GAA", said County Chairman Bob Ryan, commenting on the announcement.
