We are delighted to announce that Cork GAA Coach and Games is hosting their 3rd Coaching Conference of 2023 on Saturday 28th of January!

We invite all coaches and GAA enthusiasts to join us as we share best practices and discuss the latest developments in GAA coaching. This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and network with other GAA fans. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our upcoming conference will focus on Youth & Adult Coaching. Our goal is to provide an informative and collaborative platform for attendees to share best practices, discuss challenges, and develop techniques for successful coaching. We look forward to connecting with coaches from around Cork to learn from each other and develop strategies to ensure positive outcomes for our youth and adult athletes.

We are thrilled to have four amazing speakers joining us for the day! Kevin Clancy is an expert in the field of sports psychology, Shane Keegan brings extensive knowledge of coaching, Michael Fennelly former Kilkenny inter-county player and Offaly hurling manager, and Paudie Kissane is a renowned athletic development coach. We are sure that together these speakers will make for a truly memorable and insightful day.

Dr. Coughlan is an esteemed skills coach and is highly regarded in the elite sports industry. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, and we look forward to hearing his insights.

Dr. Wesley O’Brien is a Senior Physical Education and Coaching Science Lecturer at University College Cork (UCC). He is highly knowledgeable in his field and is an invaluable member of the School of Education. Dr. O’Brien is currently working on the B.Ed Sports Studies and Physical Education Programme, and his contributions to the programme are invaluable. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge which is helping to make the programme a success.

Our third speaker is Peter Casey is a Games Development Administrator for Clare GAA and has been working as a coach and administrator within the county for over 10 years. Regarded as an expert coach, Peter has a wealth of experience across all age groups and skill levels.
