Cork County Board is pleased to welcome Bons Secours Hospital Cork once again as the title sponsor of the 2022 county football championships. The 2022 season was launched today at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The Bon Secours Cork County Football Championships will commence on Friday next, and never has the appetite for our games been so great. With almost thirty matches this weekend, the county championships offer a true festival of football, culminating in county finals in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh later this autumn.

Commenting at the launch, Bon Secours Hospital Manager, Harry Canning said “I am delighted to continue the Bons Secours Cork sponsorship of Cork GAA’s football club championships for 2022. Bon Secours continue to display a commitment to the GAA throughout a variety of partnerships and we are delighted, here in Cork to be part of this unique and exciting championship.”

Also speaking at the launch Kevin O’Donovan, CEO Cork GAA commented, “This year marks a new venture for Gaelic games across the county with the introduction of our first formulised split season, during which the club player is finally guaranteed their day in the sun. We look forward to an avalanche of football games in every corner of the county for the coming weeks and eagerly anticipate the return of our intercounty stars to their local clubs.”
