Lismire clinch Junior C title

Lismire made history by clinching the Bon Secours Hospital Cork Junior C Football Championship title for the first time ever. Their hard-fought victory over Ballinacurra in the final at Páirc Uí Rinn showcased their determination and skill.

The game saw Lismire secure two crucial goals, courtesy of Damien Finn and Rory Sheahan, which ultimately proved to be the turning point in the county final.

Jake Hegarty of Ballinacurra displayed an impressive performance, contributing six points to his team’s overall score. Four of these points were from frees.

The match was undoubtedly a thrilling affair, captivating the spectators with its intense action and competitive spirit. Lismire’s triumph will undoubtedly be remembered as a significant milestone in their club’s history. Congratulations to Lismire on their well-deserved championship victory!

Ballinacurra:

Lismire:

This weekend is going to be an exciting one for football fans as the Bon Secours Football Championship will feature two finals at Pairc Ui Rinn.

Friday, 14th July 2023:

  • Bon Secours Confined Junior C FC Final: Lismire vs. Ballinacurra at Pairc Ui Rinn at 7:30 pm.

Saturday, 15th July 2023:

  • Bon Secours Confined Junior B FC Final: St Oliver Plunketts vs. Ballyphehane at Pairc Ui Rinn at 3:30 pm.

For fans attending the matches, here are some important information:

  • Make sure to purchase your tickets in advance at www.gaacork.ie.
