UCC win Canon O’Brien Cup

UCC secured a thrilling victory over Cork in the Canon O’Brien Cup at the Mardyke on Saturday, with Brian Hayes delivering the decisive point in the late stages. This win marked UCC’s third triumph in the tenth edition of the fixture, showcasing their prowess in a well-fought contest.

The key to their success lay in strategic scoring bursts, with five and four points respectively in the second half. In the first half,  Hayes found the net for UCC, while Sean Twomey raised Cork’s green flag, adding intensity and excitement to the match.
