McGrath Cup win for Cork
Cork, despite the terrible conditions, came good in the second-half to run out convincing winners with some impressive performances from the subs.
Mark Cronin and Conor Corbett’s goals propelled Cork to a 2-14 to 0-8 win over Clare on a rainy Wednesday night in Clarecastle. During their opening game in the McGrath Cup, manager John Cleary used 26 players, providing essential game time for the team in the pre-season tournament.
The next fixture for Cork is scheduled for January 14, where they will host Waterford.
