Canovee Crowned Division 6 Football League Champions with win Over St Nick’s

Canovee were crowned McCarthy Insurance Group Division 6 Football League champions after a dominant display saw them beat  St Nick’s in Ovens on Thursday evening.

The Muskerry side hit the ground running and never looked back, delivering a performance full of pace, intensity, and clinical finishing. Despite St Nick’s missing several key players, Canovee’s attacking fluency and defensive solidity proved too much.

St Nick’s battled bravely and showed flashes of quality, with G Marshall scoring their only goal. Points from L Quilligan (0-2) and four other contributors kept the scoreboard ticking, but they couldn’t halt Canovee’s momentum.
