Inaugural REBEL RÉALTA Sports and Activity Day at Páirc Uí Chaoimh
Sciath na Scol is proud to host the first-ever REBEL RÉALTA Sports and Activity Day, a brand-new initiative designed to celebrate inclusion and participation in Gaelic Games. The event takes place on Thursday, September 18th, from 10am to 2pm at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
This special day will welcome children from Cork’s special schools to the home of Cork GAA, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of football and hurling activities, fun games, and skill challenges. Every participant will have the chance to play on the famous Páirc Uí Chaoimh pitch, with intercounty players and special guests on hand to make the experience unforgettable.
“REBEL RÉALTA is about creating a day where every child feels included, valued, and part of the GAA community. This is only the beginning of a project that we hope to grow in the years ahead.”
— Dave Collins, Sciath na Scol Chairperson
The inaugural event has been made possible thanks to the support of our partners and sponsors: ICS, PharmaCare, Ashdale Catering, Réalta Technologies, Spar Mount Oval, Rebel Óg, Munster GAA, and Sciath na Scol.
Looking to the future, Sciath na Scol aims to expand REBEL RÉALTA into mainstream schools, ensuring that this celebration of sport, fun, and friendship becomes a permanent fixture in Cork’s sporting calendar.
