Cork County Junior A Hurling Championship – County Stage Update

The County Junior A Hurling Championship is entering the county stages, with several thrilling contests already played at divisional level. We are now down to seven clubs in contention for county honours.

In the divisional finals, there was no shortage of drama and quality across the county. In the Carrigdhoun Final, Belgooly edged past Kinsale on a scoreline of 1-24 to 1-17, while Ballinora overcame Grenagh 0-22 to 1-11 in the Muskerry Final. The Imokilly Final saw Cobh prove too strong for Bride Rovers, winning 3-19 to 3-11, while in the Seandún Final, Whitechurch emerged from a replay battle against Na Piarsaigh after a tightly contested series.

In Avondhu, Kilshannig came out on top against Dromina, winning 1-18 to 2-13. Out west, the Carbery Final saw Ballinascarthy defeat Kilbree 0-22 to 1-16, and finally, in Duhallow, Newmarket advanced impressively with a 3-28 to 1-23 win over Dromtariffe.
