Co-Op Superstores Hurling Championship Round-Up: Thursday & Friday
The Co-Op Superstores Hurling Championships continued on Thursday and Friday with a number of closely contested games across the grades.
Thursday, 20 August
Valley Rovers got the better of Kilworth in the Co-Op Superstores Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, winning 0-20 to 0-18.
Friday, 21 August
Carrigtwohill recorded a strong victory over Courcey Rovers in the Co-Op Superstores Senior ‘A’ Hurling Championship, winning 2-25 to 1-18.
In the Co-Op Superstores Intermediate ‘A’ Hurling Championship, Midleton came out on top against Blackrock, winning 2-19 to 1-19.
There were two games in the Co-Op Superstores Premier Junior Hurling Championship. St Catherine’s defeated Milford 1-23 to 1-16, while St Finbarr’s edged past Mayfield 1-25 to 1-23.
With another busy weekend of championship action ahead, the battle for places in the knockout stages continues across the various grades.
