Cork GAA Coaching & Games Development Team Announces Regional Meetings for Club Officers in January 2024
The Cork GAA Coaching & Games Development Team will hold regional meetings for club officers in January 2024. The meetings will provide a briefing on the new coaching and games development structure, which will involve one Games Development Coordinator (GDC) working with 10 clubs in a specific area.
The following are the dates and locations for the regional meetings:
- January 10th at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh (City and Carrigdhoun clubs)
- January 11th at Eire Og GAA Club (Muskerry clubs)
- January 16th at Wild Atlantic Bar, Adrigole (Beara and West Carbery clubs)
- January 17th at Midleton Park Hotel (Imokilly clubs)
- January 18th at Mallow GAA Club (West Avondhu clubs)
- January 23rd at O’ Donovan Rossa GAA Pavilion (Carbery clubs)
- January 24th at Kanturk GAA Club (Duhallow clubs)
- January 25th at Ballyhooly GAA Club (East Avondhu clubs)
Each club is asked to have three officers present at the meeting:
- Adult club chairperson
- Adult club secretary
- Underage club coaching officer or secretary
The regional meetings will provide an opportunity for each club to meet with the new GDCs in their region personally. Attendees will receive details on the coaching plan for clubs, schools, and development squads in 2024.
