Senior A Hurling Championship – Final Four Confirmed

The race for the Co-Op Superstores Senior A Hurling Championship crown has narrowed to four teams following a dramatic weekend of quarter-final action.

Bride Rovers impressed as they overcame Inniscarra, finding their rhythm up front and pulling away to secure a deserved 2-23 to 1-18 victory.

Blarney also booked their semi-final place, edging out Na Piarsaigh in a tense encounter that finished 1-21 to 0-19.

Those wins mean Bride Rovers will now meet Carrigtwohill in the last four, while Castlelyons will take on Blarney in the other semi-final, with both ties to be played in two weeks time in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The relegation battle was equally intense as Bishopstown and Courcey Rovers faced off in a do-or-die clash. After a nail-biting struggle, Courceys emerged on top by just two points, 0-16 to 0-14, ensuring their Senior A status for another season.
