Half time: Éire Óg 0-9 (9) Kanturk 1-5 (8)
Kanturk are Senior A football champions for the first time, and they will play Premier Senior in both hurling and football in 2027. Captain Paul Walsh scored 1-2, lifted the Kevin McTernan Cup and was named Man of the Match.
Éire Óg came into the final unbeaten in four games and started brightly, with Colm Clifford pointing inside the opening minute. O’Keefe levelled three minutes after the restart and Paul Walsh put Kanturk back in front. The lead changed hands several times through the second half, and McGoldrick had Éire Óg level with about 15 minutes to go. Ronan O’Toole then edged them ahead.

The game turned with ten minutes left, when Tommy Walsh landed a two-pointer to put Kanturk two clear. Kanturk finished strongly with four points in the last five minutes, including a second Walsh two-pointer, this time from I Walsh. Johnny Galvin pulled one back for Éire Óg, but substitute Cian Clernon’s injury-time point sealed the title.
