The Rebels arrive in Dublin after an unbeaten run through the All-Ireland series. Following defeat to Kerry in the Munster Final, Cork responded with an impressive 0-30 to 1-24 victory over Meath in Páirc Uí Chaoimh before producing a disciplined away performance to overcome Donegal 0-17 to 1-13 in Ballybofey, securing direct qualification for the quarter-finals.

Mayo, meanwhile, have taken a different route to the last eight. After losing the Connacht Final to Galway, they edged Monaghan by a point in Round 1 before suffering a narrow one-point defeat to Tyrone in Round 2A. Kevin McStay’s side bounced back in Round 3 with a 0-22 to 2-13 victory over Meath in Castlebar to set up Saturday’s meeting with Cork.
