Path to the 2025 Junior ‘A’ Football Championship Final
After winning their divisional title to book their place in the County Championship, both Kilmacabea and Donoughmore set out on impressive campaigns that have brought them to the final showdown.
Kilmacabea began their journey with a convincing quarter-final win over Carraig na bhFear in Newcestown, triumphing 1-11 to 0-5. Their semi-final clash against Charleville at Páirc Uí Rinn was a thrilling contest, but Kilmacabea’s determination saw them through with a 2-11 to 0-14 victory, securing their place in the county final.
Donoughmore, after advancing from their own divisional success, faced the challenge of Nemo Rangers in the semi-final. Displaying remarkable skill and composure, Donoughmore powered past Nemo Rangers with an emphatic 3-19 to 0-7 win, setting up the eagerly anticipated final against Kilmacabea.
Now, all eyes turn to 30th November 2025, when Kilmacabea and Donoughmore will battle for Junior ‘A’ glory at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
