The GAA season’s not over… in fact, it’s just begun.

Follow the Rebels as they return to their clubs for the the Co-Op Superstores Senior Hurling Championship, and the McCarthy Insurance Group Senior Football Championship.

40 games will be broadcast LIVE and exclusively on Rebels Online this season, including all ten league finals as the season reaches its climax.

 

Every puck of the sliotar, every kick of the ball.

First weekend of action in the 2024 McCarthy Insurance Group Premier Senior Football Championship sees St Finbarrs take on Douglas at 1930 on Friday, July 26th. The second clash to be broadcast will be the first round Senior A Football Championship clash between  Cill na Martha and Kiskeam on Saturday, July 27th with a throw in at 1715.

 

The next weekend sees many of our Cork inter county hurlers return to their clubs for the start of the Hurling Championships. On August 2nd, St Finbarrs take on Blackrock in the Co-op Superstores Senior Hurling Championship. The following day, Sarsfields take on Douglas.

Over the next few weeks, subscribers will also see exclusive interviews as part of our Legends series with Sean Óg O’hAilpín, Valerie Mulcahy, Dr Con Mulcahy and Denis Coughlan.

Launch of the 2024 McCarthy Insurance Group Club Football Championships

Cork County Board is pleased to welcome McCarthy Insurance Group as the title sponsor of the 2024 Cork county football championships. The 2024 season was launched today at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The McCarthy Insurance Group Football Championships will commence on Friday next, as the national football championship draws to a close we look forward to a tremendous club season. With almost thirty matches this weekend, the county championships offer a true festival of football, culminating in county finals in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh later this Autumn.

Commenting at the launch, Brendan Harrington, CEO, of McCarthy Insurance Group said, “Following the success of the McCarthy Insurance Group Football Leagues we are delighted to now sponsor the football championships.  We look forward to the season of games ahead and wish all the teams and their supporters the very best of luck”.
