County U21 Hurling Championship Draws Made

The draws for the County Under 21 Hurling Championships were made at last night’s County Committee meeting.

In the U21 A Championship, the winners of Muskerry will play the winners of Imokilly, while the winners of Seandún will meet the winners of Carrigdhoun in the quarter-finals. In the semi-finals, Carbery will play the winners of Muskerry and Imokilly, with Avondhu meeting the winners of Seandún and Carrigdhoun.

In the U21 B Championship, the winners of Carrigdhoun will play the winners of Carbery, the winners of Seandún will take on the winners of Imokilly, and the winners of Muskerry will meet the winners of Avondhu. Duhallow receive a bye to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will see the winners of Carrigdhoun and Carbery play the winners of Seandún and Imokilly, while Duhallow will face the winners of Muskerry and Avondhu.

In the U21 C Championship (13-a-side), the winners of Avondhu will play the winners of Muskerry, and the winners of Imokilly will face the winners of Carrigdhoun. In the semi-finals, Duhallow will meet the winners of Avondhu and Muskerry, while Carbery will play the winners of Imokilly and Carrigdhoun.

Referee Appointments Announced for Co-Op Superstores Hurling Championship Finals

Cork GAA is pleased to announce the referee appointments for the upcoming Co-Op Superstores Hurling Championship Finals. These fixtures represent the culmination of an exciting championship season, and Cork GAA extends its congratulations and best wishes to all appointed officials.

In the Co-Op Superstores Premier Senior Hurling Championship Final, the clash between Midleton and Sarsfields will be officiated by Colm Lyons (Nemo Rangers).

The Senior A Hurling Championship Final between Bride Rovers and Castlelyons will see Ian McCarthy (Bandon) take charge.

In the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Final, Patrick O’Mahony (Kilbrittain) has been appointed as referee for the meeting of Ballincollig and Ballinhassig.

The Intermediate A Hurling Championship Final pairing of Aghabullogue and Bandon will be overseen by Willie Wallis (Aghada).

Finally, the Premier Junior Hurling Championship Final between Glen Rovers and Kilbrittain will be refereed by Kevin O’Sullivan (Valley Rovers).

Cork GAA congratulates all match officials on their appointments.

Festival of Hurling Set for SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh

 

A Festival of Hurling awaits as five County Finals take centre stage at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh from Friday, October 17th to Sunday, October 19th. Across three days, 10 Cork clubs will battle it out for championship glory across five grades, in what promises to be one of the great weekends on the hurling calendar.

From Premier Junior to Premier Senior, every grade will be decided on the banks of the Lee — a true celebration of the game at every level.
