Cork GAA extends a sincere thank you to all the stakeholders who attended the recent Cork GAA Sustainability Roadshow.

Your presence, insights, and enthusiasm made the event a resounding success. We were delighted to welcome a diverse group of attendees — including club representatives, County Board members, City and County councils, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), Croke Park representatives, and sustainability experts.

Each participant brought valuable perspectives and energy to the conversation, helping to shape a more sustainable future for Cork GAA and the wider community.

Continue the Journey – Explore the Cork GAA Sustainability Hub

To build on the momentum of the roadshows, we encourage all participants and interested clubs to visit our dedicated Sustainability section on the Cork GAA website.

🌿 Visit the Sustainability Hub

This hub provides a range of resources, toolkits, case studies, and guidance designed to support your club’s sustainability journey. Whether you’re taking your first steps or looking to expand existing initiatives, you’ll find practical ideas and useful contacts to help embed sustainability into every aspect of club life.

Next Step – Appoint a Club Sustainability Officer

As we look ahead, we’re asking all clubs to appoint a Sustainability Officer at this year’s AGM.

This key role will help coordinate sustainability actions within your club — from grant applications and local partnerships to embedding green practices in planning and operations.

🌍 View Sustainability Officer Role

By nominating a dedicated officer, your club will play an active role in driving local change and strengthening our collective impact across Cork.

Together, let’s continue to make Cork GAA a leader in community and environmental sustainability.
