
Cork GAA are pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Lane as Operations Manager.
Daniel has been employed by Cork GAA as Office Administrator since November 2022, having previously served as Rúnaí of both Bride Rovers GAA Club and the East Cork Divisional Board on a voluntary basis.
His appointment is effective immediately and the role will include management / support of the following areas: Administrative Support; Correspondence; Fixtures; Match Tickets; Inter-County Teams; Disciplinary Notices; Injury Claims; Annual Affiliations; Club Developments; Facilities and Grounds; County Board Meetings; Strategic Plan.
Pat Horgan, Chairperson of Cork GAA, said, “Daniel has a proven track record of Games Administration at all levels, and we are delighted to see him accept this new management role”.
Kevin O’Donovan, Secretary / CEO of Cork GAA, said, “We are thrilled that Daniel will now fill a key position in Cork GAA, providing the best possible administration service for our members, units and teams, in line with our strategic goal of supporting volunteers”.

The Co-Op Superstores Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship delivered another weekend of high-scoring hurling and tight contests.
Carrigaline just held off Ballymartle, 0-20 to 1-16, in a thrilling local battle. In Midleton, Éire Óg’s two goals proved decisive as they overcame Cloyne 2-14 to 0-15.
Ballincollig were in dominant form, racking up 3-22 against Castlemartyr, while Ballinhassig edged Kilworth by a single point, 0-18 to 0-17.
East Cork saw Dungourney and Lisgoold go toe-to-toe in a high-scoring clash, with Dungourney holding out 0-28 to 1-21. Valley Rovers finished strongest to defeat Mallow 0-23 to 0-19.
