Colm Lyons to take charge of Munster Senior Hurling Final;
Cork referee Colm Lyons has been appointed to take charge of the Munster Senior Hurling final on Sunday June 9th at FBD Semple Stadium between Clare and Limerick.
This years final is the Nemo Rangers clubman’s second Munster Senior Hurling final, having previously taken charge of the 2020 covid final behind closed doors also in FBD Semple Stadium when Limerick accounted for Waterford on a 0-25 to 0-21 score line.
In this year’s Munster championship, the opening round between both finalist played in Cusack Park, Ennis on April 21st was officiated by the Cork official when Limerick came from behind to fashion a 3-15 to 1-18 victory.
