Cork GAA Clubs Organise Major Voluntary Clean Up Initiative in Partnership with Cork County Council and Cork City Council

Participants: Cork GAA, Cork Camogie and Cork LGFA members, supporters, and volunteers from the community together with support from Cork City Council and Cork County Councils

Environmental Impact: By removing litter from public spaces, the initiative will help protect local wildlife, improve public health, and enhance the natural beauty of our communities.

Community Engagement: The event encourages community participation, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility for the environment.

Youth Involvement: Young athletes and their families will play a significant role, teaching the next generation the importance of environmental responsibility and community service.




The Co-Op Superstores Cork Hurling Championships group stages came to a conclusion over the weekend with round three games played across Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September.
The Co Op Superstores Premier Senior Hurling Championship Round 3 brings the weekend’s club action to a close. Some mouth watering ties are in prospect with all games throwing in at 4pm. Two ties have the TV cameras with the Pairc Ui Rinn clash of Midleton & Erins Own on TG4 while Mourneabbey host Newtownshandrum & Douglas is the Rebels Online pick.






On Sunday 8th September the Co-Op Superstores Premier Intermediate Hurling championship group stages come to a conclusion with the six round 3 ties throwing in at 2pm. A feast of hurling action awaits. Advanced ticket sales only from gaacork.ie/tickets U16’s FREE
