Cork are set to welcome Munster rivals Kerry to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, May 31st, for a crucial Round 2 clash in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (Group 2).

This fixture marks a pivotal moment in Cork’s championship campaign as the team look to build momentum in front of a home crowd. Throw-in is at 4:45 PM.

Manager John Cleary has named the Cork Senior Football team to face Kerry. The starting fifteen is as follows: Micheál Aodh Martin (Nemo Rangers) starts in goal, with a full-back line of Seán Meehan (Kiskeam), Daniel O’Mahony (Knocknagree, captain), and Maurice Shanley (Clonakilty). The half-back line features Brian O’Driscoll (Carrigaline), Seán Powter (Douglas), and Matty Taylor (Mallow). In midfield, Ian Maguire (St Finbarr’s) partners Colm O’Callaghan (Éire Óg). As part of our commitment to honouring the next generation of GAA stars, these young players will take part in a Parade of Champions at half-time during the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship clash between Cork and Kerry.
