This weekends games

Leagues take centre stage this weekend across Cork teams with Rebels in action from underage development squads right up to senior inter-county level.

It all begins on Saturday afternoon in MTU Cork, where the Cork Camogie team continue their league campaign. A loss in their opening game, they now turn their focus to Antrim in what promises to be another important early test.

Cork Minor squads travel for Round 3 of the Leinster Minor Football Development League. These development games are vital opportunities for young players to grow, compete, and represent the county with pride. Cork 1 travel to Limerick to face Sligo, while Cork 2 make the journey to Laois to take on Wicklow.

Sunday brings more games….

At SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork U19s welcome Meath for a challenge game at midday. These fixtures are crucial stepping stones, giving emerging players valuable experience in a competitive environment.

Attention then turns to two major 2pm throw-ins.

Cork Ladies footballers make the trip to Tralee for a Round 4 league encounter against old friends Kerry. Cork who have seven points from their open games.  Meetings between Cork and Kerry are always fiercely contested, and this one will be no different as both sides look to strengthen their league positions.

Our Senior Footballers host Meath in the Allianz Football League at Páirc Uí Rinn. Home support will be key as the Rebels aim to deliver a strong performance in front of their supporters.
