Cork U20s beat Kerry in Munster Championship

Cork 0-10 Kerry 0-9
Cork secured a vital 0-10 to 0-9 win over Kerry in the Munster U20 Football Championship, marking their first victory over their rivals at this grade since 2021. After a slow start and a low-quality first half that ended 0-3 apiece, Cork grew into the game impressively.
Despite losing Dara Sheedy to injury early on, the Rebels produced a strong collective performance after the break. Mark O’Brien and Danny Miskella both struck crucial two-pointers, while Odhran Foley delivered an outstanding display throughout. Goalkeeper Billy Curtin also made a key contribution with a long-range 45.
Cork showed composure and resilience in the closing stages, holding off a late Kerry push to seal a deserved win. Following their opening draw with Clare, this result leaves Cork well positioned to reach the Munster final, with a decisive clash against Waterford up next.

Cork now face Waterford in their final group game next Wednesday at 7pm down the Páirc.
