Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship: Round 3 Preview

The Co-Op Superstores Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship continues this Sunday, September 6, with six Round 3 games taking place across Cork.

With the group stages beginning to take shape, there is plenty at stake as teams look to strengthen their position and put themselves in contention for the knockout stages.

All six fixtures throw in at 2pm, with games taking place in Ballyanley, Blarney, Páirc Uí Rinn, Shanagarry, Killeagh and Ballinspittle.

Ballincollig and Aghabullogue meet in Ballyanley, while Bishopstown and Éire Óg face off in Blarney.

At Páirc Uí Rinn, Carrigaline take on Kilworth, with both sides looking to make an important impact at this stage of the championship.

There is an East Cork derby in Shanagarry as Cloyne face Lisgoold, while Dungourney and Castlemartyr meet in Killeagh.

The final game sees Valley Rovers take on Ballymartle in Ballinspittle.

With every point becoming increasingly valuable, Sunday’s six games promise another important afternoon of Premier Intermediate hurling action.
