Premier Senior Hurling Championship: Round 3 Preview

Round 3 of the Co-Op Superstores Premier Senior Hurling Championship takes centre stage this Sunday, September 6, with six fixtures scheduled across Cork.

With the group stages moving into a crucial phase, teams will be looking to secure another valuable win and strengthen their position ahead of the remaining rounds.

Douglas and Sarsfields meet at Páirc Uí Rinn, while Newtownshandrum and Charleville go head-to-head in Milford in another important fixture.

In Mourneabbey, Blackrock face Kanturk, with both sides looking to make their mark in a highly competitive group.

There is an East Cork clash in Carrigtwohill as Glen Rovers take on Fr O’Neill’s, while Midleton and Bride Rovers meet in Caherlag.

The final fixture of the day sees St Finbarrs face Newcestown in Enniskeane.

All six games are scheduled for a 4pm throw-in, setting up an action-packed afternoon of Premier Senior hurling.

With plenty still to play for in the championship, Sunday’s Round 3 fixtures could prove significant in determining the eventual knockout-stage places.
