The launch featured contributions from a distinguished panel of speakers, including:

  • Lord Mayor Cllr. Fergal Dennehy, who officially launched the book

  • Mick Buckley, Seandún GAA Chairman

  • Cllr. Kieran McCarthy, who penned insightful chapters on Cork’s economic climate in the 1920s and 1970s

  • Peter Devine, Book Committee Lead and the driving force behind the project

  • Ger O’Sullivan, Cork GAA Communications Officer, who delivered the closing address

Clubs and delegates from across the division were well represented on the night, adding to the sense of pride and celebration.

Cork GAA Sustainability Survey

Cork GAA Sustainability Survey –

Following on from the recent Green Clubs workshops delivered in partnership with Rebel Go Green, the Cork GAA Sustainability Committee is now working on the next phase of our sustainability programme. As part of this work, we are conducting a county-wide survey to assess the current energy-related costs across all clubs.

The information gathered will help us better understand the challenges faced by clubs and will guide the supports and resources we develop moving forward.

We would greatly appreciate if your club could take a few minutes to complete the short survey before Monday, November 24th.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as we continue to help clubs become more energy-efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally conscious.
