Allianz League Fixtures 2023

The fixtures for the Allianz Leagues 2023 have been confirmed today following the release of the GAA Master Plan for 2023.

 

The Allianz Football League Fixtures are as follows:

  • Round 1: Sunday 29th January, Cork v Meath, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh @ 1:30pm
  • Round 2: Sunday 5th February, Kildare v Cork, St Clonleth’s Park, Newbridge @ 2:00pm
  • Round 3: Sunday 19th February, Cork v Dublin, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh @ 3:45pm
  • Round 4: Sunday 26th February, Cork v Limerick, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh @ 3:45pm
  • Round 5: Sunday 5th March, Clare v Cork, Cusack Park, Ennis @ 2:00pm
  • Round 6: Sunday 19th March, Louth v Cork, Páirc Mhuire, Ardee @ 1:00pm
  • Round 7: Sunday 26th March, Cork v Derry, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh @ 2:00pm

Club Officer Induction Training – Thursday 26th January

As part of the Club Leadership Development Programme (CLDP), role induction webinars have been scheduled on a Provincial basis for Club Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, PRO and Coaching Officer. This is a learning opportunity for Club Officers in GAA, LGFA, and Camogie Association Clubs to gain the knowledge and skills that are necessary to fulfill their roles. The training takes place on Thursday 26th January via Microsoft Teams.

Coaching Conference- Adult and Youth take place on Saturday

 

We are delighted to announce that Cork GAA Coach and Games is hosting their 3rd Coaching Conference of 2023 on Saturday 28th of January!

We invite all coaches and GAA enthusiasts to join us as we share best practices and discuss the latest developments in GAA coaching. This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and network with other GAA fans. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our upcoming conference will focus on Youth & Adult Coaching. Our goal is to provide an informative and collaborative platform for attendees to share best practices, discuss challenges, and develop techniques for successful coaching. We look forward to connecting with coaches from around Cork to learn from each other and develop strategies to ensure positive outcomes for our youth and adult athletes.

We are thrilled to have four amazing speakers joining us for the day! Kevin Clancy is an expert in the field of sports psychology, Shane Keegan brings extensive knowledge of coaching, Michael Fennelly former Kilkenny inter-county player and Offaly hurling manager, and Paudie Kissane is a renowned athletic development coach. We are sure that together these speakers will make for a truly memorable and insightful day.
