The Cork Club Championship Final’s season continues this weekend with four finals scheduled for SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th.

 

📅 Saturday, October 25th: Double-Header Day

Premier Junior Football Final: Buttevant vs St Nicks

  • Time: 4:30 PM
  • Competition: McCarthy Insurance Group Premier JFC
  • The Story: The season-long journey for the Premier Junior title ends here. Buttevant and St Nicks face off for the Donal Hurley Cup and, crucially, a spot in the Intermediate grade next year, the winners will also represent Cork in the Munster Club Championship in 2025

Senior ‘A’ Hurling Final: Bride Rovers vs Castlelyons

  • Time: 6:30 PM
  • Competition: Co-Op Superstores Senior ‘A’ HC
  • The Story: The lights come on for a high-stakes East Cork derby! Bride Rovers play Castlelyons with the biggest reward in hurling on the line: promotion to the Premier Senior Hurling Championship for 2026.

📅 Sunday, October 26th: Football Finals Day

 

Senior ‘A’ Football Final: Cill na Martra vs Knocknagree

 

  • Time: 1:30 PM
  • Competition: McCarthy Insurance Group Senior ‘A’ FC
  • The Story: The opening act on Sunday sees two hugely popular clubs, Cill na Martra and Knocknagree, fighting for the final spot in the Premier Senior grade. This is a massive opportunity for both sides, and the winner will officially join Cork’s top-flight of football.

 

Premier Senior Football Final: Nemo Rangers vs St Finbarrs

  • Time: 3:30 PM
  • Competition: McCarthy Insurance Group Senior FC
  • The Story: The main event. The classic Cork city rivalry takes centre stage as Nemo Rangers meet St Finbarrs for the Premier Senior Football title. This fixture never fails to deliver drama, intensity, and star quality. Both teams are packed with inter-county talent, and the prize is the coveted Andy Scannell Cup. This is history in the making—a truly unmissable spectacle.

Cork Clubs Ready for Munster Hurling Championship Action

Following an unforgettable weekend of success in the Co-op Superstores Cork Hurling Championships, the focus now shifts to the AIB Munster GAA Club Hurling Championships, where Sarsfields, Ballinhassig, and Kilbrittain will proudly fly the Cork flag in provincial competition.

Thanks to Cork’s qualification for the 2025 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final, all three county champions receive a bye to the Munster semi-final stage, giving them extra preparation time as they await their opponents emerging from the quarter-finals.

Senior Championship: Sarsfields Await Quarter-Final Winner

Fresh from their Premier Senior triumph, Sarsfields will make their Munster bow in the semi-final on Sunday, November 16th.
Their opponents will be the winners of a mouth-watering quarter-final between Na Piarsaigh (Limerick) and Ballygunner (Waterford), two of the competition’s traditional heavyweights.

Championship Fever Continues: Seven Finals Remaining at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh!

The County Championships are heading toward a thrilling conclusion, and the atmosphere is set to reach fever pitch over the coming weekends at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Following three gripping hurling finals that saw Sarsfields claim the Co-Op Superstores Premier Senior Hurling Championship title over Midleton, Ballinhassig triumph in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship against Ballincollig, and Kilbrittain survive a scare to win the Premier Junior Hurling Championship over Glen Rovers, only seven County finals across football and hurling now remain.
