Rebels’ Bounty Draw for August

Thursday, August 31st, the August Rebels’ Bounty Draw will be broadcast live from SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Be sure to catch the livestream on the Cork GAA website or Rebels Online.

With a total prize pool of €39,200, including a top prize of €25,000, there are 30 chances to win big.

Winners will be announced for prizes ranging from €3,000 to €150 for those who placed second to thirtieth.

Round 3 Fixtures:

Glen Rovers v Argideen Rangers

Erins Own v Tracton

Glen Rovers

  • Will top the group with a win or draw.
  • If Glen Rovers lose and Erins Own win, 1st to 3rd would finish on 4 points each. In this scenario, the group would be decided on points difference.
  • If Glen Rovers lose and Tracton win, Glen would finish in second on head-to-head.

Argideen Rangers

  • Can top the group with a win on head-to-head vs Glen Rovers.
  • If Argideen Rangers draw and Erins Own lose, Argideen would finish in second place.
  • If Argideen Rangers draw and Erins Own draw, Argideen would finish in third place due to losing to Erins Own in Round 2.
  • If Argideen Rangers lose and Erins Own win, Argideen would finish in third place.
  • If Argideen Rangers lose and Tracton win, Argideen would finish in second place on head-to-head vs Tracton.

Erins Own

  • Erins Own can qualify for the knockout stage with a win or draw and Argideen Rangers lose to Glen Rovers.
  • If Erins Own draw and Argideen Rangers draw, Erins Own will go through in second place on head-to-head due to Erins Own beating Argideen.
  • Erins Own can finish bottom if Tracton win by at least 6 points or more.
  • If Erins Own lose and Argideen Rangers lose, 3 teams will be on 2 points so 2nd to 4th will be decided by points difference.

Tracton

  • Can still qualify on points difference by beating Erins Own by at least 6 points to overcome Erins Own but they also require Argideen Rangers to lose. In this scenario Tracton would need to win by at least 10 points to overcome Argideen Rangers points difference.
  • A draw or loss and Tracton will finish bottom of the group. A draw will see them avoid the relegation playoff.

 

Premier Junior Hurling Championship Group B

Round 3 Fixtures:

Barryroe v Milford

Ballygarvan v Kilbrittain

Barryroe

  • Barryroe have qualified for the knockout stages due to previous victories over Kilbrittain and Ballygarvan.
  • Will top the group even if they lose to Milford and there is a winner in the other game.

Kilbrittain

  • Kilbrittain need a draw to qualify in second place.
  • A loss will eliminate Kilbrittain from the championship.

Ballygarvan

  • A Ballygarvan  victory over Kilbrittain will qualify them in second place.
  • A draw or loss will eliminate them from the championship.

Milford

  • Milford can’t qualify from this group.
  • Milford can only finish bottom of this group due to head-to-head results vs both Ballygarvan and Kilbrittain.
  • Milford need a draw or win to avoid the relegation playoff.
  • If Milford lose they will need a superior points difference over Tracton to avoid the relegation playoff.

St Catherines

  • St Catherines will qualify for the knockout stage with a draw.
  • If St Catherines lose and Meelin draw or win, St Catherines will be eliminated in third place.
  • If St Catherines lose and St Finbarr’s win, St Catherines will need a superior scoring difference to Meelin to qualify in second place.

Meelin

  • Meelin will qualify for the next round with a draw.
  • If Meelin win and St Catherines lose, Meelin will top the group.
  • If Meelin lose and Russell Rovers win, Meelin will need a superior scoring difference to St Catherines to qualify.

Russell Rovers

  • Russell Rovers must win to qualify for the knockout stage.
  • A draw or loss and they will be eliminated.

St Finbarr’s

  • St Finbarr’s can’t qualify from the group.
  • Need to win or draw and hope Milford and Tracton both lose to avoid the relegation playoff.

Round 3 Fixtures:

Aghabullogue v Lisgoold

Aghada v Youghal

Aghabullogue

  • Will qualify and finish top of the group with a win or draw due to their superior points difference.
  • If Aghabullogue lose to Lisgoold, then Lisgoold will top the group and Aghabullogue will qualify in second place.
  • If Aghabullogue lose to Lisgoold and Aghada beat Youghal, they would still qualify in second place unless Aghada have a superior points difference to Aghabullogue. Aghada need a 12 point swing for this scenario to occur.

Lisgoold

  • Must beat Aghabullogue to top the group.
  • If Lisgoold draw, they will qualify in second place.
  • If Lisgoold and Youghal win, Youghal would need a 12 point swing to overtake Lisgoold on points difference.

Aghada

  • If Aghada win and Aghabullogue lose, Aghada would need at least 13 points to overcome the points difference to Aghabullogue.
  • If Aghada draw with Youghal, they will be eliminated regardless of the result in the other game in this group.
  • If Aghada lose, they would finish bottom. In this case they would need a superior points difference to Kildorrery to avoid a relegation playoff.

Youghal

  • If Youghal win they will finish in 3rd place.
  • If Youghal draw they will finish bottom of the group.
  • If Youghal lose they will again finish bottom of the group.

Mayfield v Sarsfields

Blackrock v Kildorrery

Mayfield

  • Will qualify and finish top of the group with a draw.
  • If Mayfield win and Blackrock win, Mayfield need a superior points difference to Blackrock to stay top of the group due to drawing with each other in Round 1.
  • If Mayfield lose and Blackrock win, Mayfield will qualify in second place.
  • If Mayfield lose and Kildorrery win, all teams would finish on 3 points and the group would be decided on points difference.

Blackrock

  • Will qualify in second place with a draw.
  • If Blackrock win and Mayfield lose, Blackrock will top the group.
  • If Blackrock lose and Mayfield win, Blackrock would finish in 3rd place due to head-to-head with Kildorrery.

Sarsfields

  • If Sarsfields win, they would need to win by at least 7 points to qualify in second place for the knockout stage ahead of Mayfield.
  • If Sarsfields win and Kildorrery win, all teams would finish on 3 points. In this scenario the group would be decided on points difference.
  • If Sarsfields draw they will be eliminated in 3rd place.
  • With a loss, Sarsfields would need Kildorrery to lose to Blackrock to maintain 3rd place.
  • If Sarsfields lose and Kildorrery draw or win, Sarsfields would finish bottom.

Kildorrery

  • Kildorrery can still qualify for the knockout stage with a win over Blackrock and Mayfield beating Sarsfields.
  • If Kildorrery win and Sarsfields win, all 4 teams would finish on 3 points. In this scenario the group would be decided on points difference.
  • If Kildorrery draw and Sarsfield lose, Kildorrery would finish in 3rd place.

Castlelyons

  • Castlelyons will top the group with a win or draw against Ballincollig.
  • If Castlelyons lose to Ballincollig, they require Bandon to beat Dungourney to finish second in the group.
  • If Castlelyons lose and Dungourney beat Bandon then scoring difference will decide the top 3 teams, (Castlelyons, Dungourney, Ballincollig). Due to Castlelyons superior scoring difference they are more than likely to progress.

Ballincollig

  • If Ballincollig win they will top the group unless Dungourney beat Bandon.
  • If Ballincollig win and Dungourney beat Bandon then Ballincollig need Dungourney to not beat Bandon by 33 points.
  • If Ballincollig draw, they require Bandon to beat Dungourney to progress.
  • If Ballincollig lose and Bandon beat Dungourney, then Ballincollig, Dungourney and Bandon will finish on 2 points and scoring difference will decide the order from 2nd to 4th place. Due to the current scoring difference it would likely end up finishing with Ballincollig in 2nd, Dungourney still in 3rd place and Bandon in 4th.

Dungourney

  • If Dungourney draw against Bandon and Castlelyons win or draw against Ballincollig, then Dungourney progress in second place.
  • If Dungourney win and Ballincollig win, then Dungourney will need a large victory over Bandon to qualify on scoring difference.
  • If Dungourney lose and Castlelyons win, as explained previously scoring difference will decide the order from 2nd to 4th place.
  • If Dungourney lose and Ballincollig draw or win, then Dungourney will finish bottom.

Bandon

  • If Bandon win and Ballincollig draw or win, then Bandon will avoid finishing bottom.
  • If Bandon win and Castlelyons win, they would need a superior scoring difference than Dungourney and Ballincollig to finish higher than 4th.
  • If Bandon lose they will be in the relegation playoff.

Round 3 Fixtures:

Éire Óg v Ballymartle

Valley Rovers v Carrigaline

Éire Óg

  • If Éire Óg win or draw against Ballymartle, they will win the group.
  • If Éire Óg lose and Carrigaline beat Valley Rovers, Éire Óg will still qualify in second place.
  • If Éire Óg lose and Valley Rovers beat Carrigaline, then scoring difference will decide the top 3 positions.

Ballymartle

  • If Ballymartle win and Carrigaline win then Ballymartle will top the group.
  • If Ballymartle win and Valley Rovers win then the top 3 will be decided by scoring difference. Ballymartle would require a win by at least 2 in this scenario.
  • If Ballymartle draw and Carrigaline win, then Ballymartle progress.
  • If Ballymartle lose and Carrigaline beat Valley Rovers, then scoring difference will decide 2nd to 4th place.

Valley Rovers

  • If Valley Rovers draw against Carrigaline and Éire Óg win or draw again Ballymartle, then Valley Rovers progress due to their victory over Ballymartle in Round 2.
  • If Valley Rovers win and Ballymartle win, then Valley Rovers need a better scoring difference than either Ballymartle or Éire Óg. Valley Rovers need at least 4 points in this case.
  • If Valley Rovers lose and Éire Óg win, then scoring difference will decide 2nd to 4th place. Valley Rovers would need to lose by 3 points less than Ballymartle lose by and also lose by 4 points or less to Carrigaline.
  • If Valley Rovers lose and Ballymartle draw, then Valley Rovers finish bottom on head-to-head.

Carrigaline

  • If Carrigaline win they will avoid finishing bottom.
  • If Carrigaline win and Ballymartle draw, then Carrigaline will finish 3rd.
  • If Carrigaline win and Éire Óg win, then scoring difference will decide 2nd to 4th place. Carrigaline would require a 5 point win against Valley Rovers and would need Éire Óg to beat Ballymartle by 6 points or more to qualify from the group in this scenario.
  • If Carrigaline lose they will be in the relegation playoff.

 

Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Group C

Round 3 Fixtures:

Ballinhassig v Kilworth

Castlemartyr v Watergrasshill

Ballinhassig

  • If Ballinhassig win against Kilworth they will top the group.
  • If Ballinhassig draw, they will top the group unless Watergrasshill beat Castlemartyr by 3 points or more.
  • If Ballinhassig lose and Watergrasshill vs Castlemartyr ends in a draw then all four teams will finish on 3 points. Scoring difference would decide the final placings.

Castlemartyr

  • If Castlemartyr win and Kilworth beat Ballinhassig then Castlemartyr top the group.
  • If Castlemartyr draw against Watergrasshill then they will qualify.
  • If Castlemartyr lose then they will be eliminated.
  • If Castlemartyr lose and Ballinhassig win or draw, then Castlemartyr finish third.
  • If Castlemartyr lose and Kilworth win, then Castlemartyr finish bottom.

Watergrasshill

  • If Watergrasshill win they will qualify for the knockout stage
  • If Watergrasshill win and Kilworth beat Ballinhassig then Watergrasshill will top the group.
  • If Watergrasshill win and Ballinhassig beat Kilworth then Watergrasshill will finish second.
  • If Watergrasshill win and Ballinhassig vs Kilworth draw, Watergrasshill will top the group if they win by 4 points or more.
  • If Watergrasshill draw they will be eliminated, unless Kilworth beat Ballinhassig. In this scenario, all four teams will finish on 3 points so scoring difference would decide the final placings.
  • If Watergrasshill lose they will be eliminated.
    • They will finish third if Ballinhassig beat Kilworth.
    • They will finish bottom if Kilworth beat Ballinhassig.
    • If Kilworth and Ballinhassig draw, then Watergrasshill must lose by 6 points or less to avoid finishing bottom of the group.

Kilworth

  • If Kilworth win and there is a winner between Castlemartyr and Watergrasshill, then Kilworth will qualify on head-to-head.
  • If Kilworth win and Castlemartyr and Watergrasshill draw, then Kilworth need to win by 8 points to qualify for the knockout stage.
  • If Kilworth draw they will be eliminated and finish bottom. If Castlemartyr beat Watergrasshill by 8 or more then Kilworth would finish 3rd. If Bandon win against Dungourney in Group A or Carrigaline win against Valley Rovers in Group B then Kilworth would require a draw and hope their scoring difference will be superior to avoid the relegation final.
  • If Kilworth lose they will be eliminated. Kilworth need Bandon and Carrigaline to lose and have worse points difference to avoid the relegation final.
