Careers Fair to showcase Cork as a region full of employment potential
Student event to take part in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh this November
The Cork Careers Fair, in partnership with Cork GAA and Cork Chamber, is set to take place on November 14th at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
The event, targeted at students in second and third level, will bring together representatives from top Cork-based companies, offering attendees the chance to explore exciting job opportunities and network with industry professionals.
Speaking at the launch of the careers fair, Annie Fitzgibbon, Director of Member Services, Cork Chamber, said: From cutting-edge renewable energy projects, to innovative tech startups and established pharmaceutical and FMCG giants, Cork’s local economy is thriving. There is no longer a need to move to bigger cities to get access to a wide and diverse range of job opportunities – we have them here in Cork. The region is a vibrant, globally recognised, place for business, innovation and quality of life.”

The Cork Careers Fair is open to attendees from all second and third level institutions in Cork and the wider surrounding areas. Any companies with a local base, and who wish to have a presence at the event, can also register their interest.

Ballot papers will be circulated to Affiliated Clubs and County Committee Delegates in the coming days.
The ballot papers will be counted on Friday, December 6th, ahead of Cómhdháil Bhliantiúil which takes place on Tuesday, December 10th at 7pm in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

🚗 Parking: Please note that parking near the stadium is limited due to the WinterLee event. Additional parking is available at Mahon, Páirc Uí Rinn, city center car parks, Kennedy Quay, and local rowing club car parks. Remember to park legally and consider the local community.

🚶 Getting to the Stadium:

  • Walking: The stadium is a 25-minute walk from Cork city center and is connected to the Mahon to Passage Greenway.
  • Public Transport: SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh can be accessed by the 202 and 212 buses, which stop near the stadium.
  • Kent Station: A 35-minute walk from the stadium.

Stadium Access: Gates open at 12:30 PM. Only Premium Level and South Level 1 will be accessible. Please note: The North Stand is closed.

🍔 Refreshments and Facilities:

  • Food kiosks, bars, and sweet shops are available throughout the stadium.
  • Match programs are available at various points inside.
