Speaking on the release of the plan, Pat Horgan, Chairperson of Cork GAA, acknowledged the work undertaken to deliver the comprehensive schedule:

“Today’s publication of our 2026 Master Fixture Plan represents a major body of work. By issuing the League and Championship programmes together, we are showing a clear commitment to our clubs, giving certainty to players, coaches, administrators and supporters, and allowing everyone to plan with confidence.”

“I want to acknowledge the excellent work of our County Competitions Control Committee, led by its Chairman Noel O’Callaghan, along with our Operations Manager Daniel Lane. Their collaboration, attention to detail and determination to improve the fixture process has been central to delivering this plan.”

Cork GAA CEO Kevin O’Donovan said the Master Fixture Plan reflects a growing focus on long-term planning:

“This plan reflects extensive planning and co-ordination across all areas of Cork GAA, with a strong focus on clarity for our club players and officers. A significant amount of work has gone into aligning dates, venues and competition structures.”

“Publishing a complete fixture roadmap for 2026 is a very positive step and underlines Cork GAA’s commitment to providing certainty and continuous improvement in how our competitions are organised and delivered.”

Third Day Added to Féile Golf Classic Due to Unprecedented Demand

The Stand 4 Féile Golf Classic Committee is delighted to announce that, following incredible early support, a third day has been added to the upcoming fundraiser.

Since the event was launched at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Tuesday, 2nd December, demand for tee times has exceeded all expectations. As a result, the Golf Classic will now take place over three days:

  • Thursday, 16th April
  • Friday, 17th April
  • Saturday, 18th April

Supporting Féile O’Sullivan

This special event is being organised in support of 13-year-old Féile O’Sullivan, who suffered life-changing injuries following a tragic accident at home earlier this year.

Funds raised will help Féile and her family as she continues her recovery journey, providing vital long-term support, services, and care.

Community Support

With the backing of Cork GAA and Kerry GAA, along with the wider GAA community, the response to the Golf Classic has been truly heartening.

Organising Committee Statement

Barry Coffey, Chairman of the Organising Committee, expressed his gratitude to those who have already shown their support:

“The outpouring of support for Féile and her family has been incredible. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has already committed to the Golf Classic. The addition of a third day is a testament to the generosity of clubs, companies, and supporters across Cork, Kerry, and beyond. We look forward to what will be a fantastic few days of golf — all in aid of a remarkable young girl.”

Get Involved

The Stand 4 Féile Committee continues to invite clubs, companies, societies, and groups of friends to enter a team and show their support.
