Round 3 Wrap-up of Co-op Superstores Intermediate ‘A’ Hurling Championship
Round 3 of the Co-op Superstores Intermediate ‘A’ Hurling Championship delivered plenty of drama, goals, and hard-fought wins as the group stages came to a close — and now the quarter-final picture is officially set.
Bandon impressed once again with a strong 1-25 to 1-15 victory over Mayfield, showing their sharpness in attack and consistency across the campaign to secure a knockout place. Russell Rovers edged Midleton 2-18 to 2-16 in a thriller, but Midleton’s earlier form was enough to ensure a place in the knock-out stages.

Aghada finished strongly with a 2-20 to 1-15 win over Ballygiblin, confirming their place in the last eight, while Erin’s Own held off Kildorrery 2-12 to 0-15 in another tight affair that sealed their progression.
With three competitive rounds now complete, the group stages have produced high-quality hurling and no shortage of drama. Supporters can now look forward to an exciting quarter-final series featuring six clubs still in the hunt for championship honours.
