CASTLELYONS have been crowned Co-Op SuperStores PIHC winners following a hard-fought win over Kilworth in the final at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday afternoon.
Castlelyons had been knocking on the door over the last few years but they finally got over the line in what was an enthralling decider against a battled-hardened Kilworth side.
Castlelyons reached the final in 2020 and again in 2021, but were beaten on both occasions to Blarney and Courcey Rovers respectively. The team in green and gold weren’t going to be denied in their third final appearance in four seasons.

A strong finish to the first half on Saturday evening laid the foundation for Erin’s Own to achieve back-to-back county hurling titles.
For the third year in four since the reformatting of the Co-op SuperStores Cork Hurling Championships, the junior A winners have gone on to immediate glory in the next grade – previously known as the Lower IHC and now the Premier JHC.

Access to the Stadium and Seating
As fans, your comfort and convenience are always our top priority. We recommend not travelling without a pre-purchased ticket, as there will be no ticketing services available at the venue. Seats at the SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh will be unreserved, so seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The seating areas include South Stand Level 1, Premium, North Stand, and Blackrock Tce. Make sure you have your tickets ready for scanning when you arrive.

For those interested in purchasing tickets, they are available on the Cork GAA website at www.gaacork.ie/tickets. Please note that U16’s do not require a ticket.

Preparing for the Day
Please be aware of the weather conditions and dress accordingly. We want your experience watching the game to be as comfortable as possible.
Plan your Journey
As with any major sporting event, traffic may be heavy before and after the game. Some local roads may also be closed. Therefore, we advise you to plan your journey to the stadium well in advance. Irish Rail has scheduled additional trains from Midleton to Cork at 13:45, 14:25, 19:15, and 19:45. We also have a free shuttle bus service starting from 1pm opposite Goldbergs Bar, Victoria Road, and dropping off outside the Live at the Marquee site. Buses should be departing every 20 minutes.
Getting to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh
The stadium opens at 12:30pm and is a convenient 20-minute walk from Cork City Centre. If you’re driving, you can park at all City Car Parks, Kennedy Quay, and Boreenmana Road. From there, you can walk along Centre Park Road towards the Marina and then to the stadium. Do note that the Live at Marquee Car park will be closed.
For those using public transport, the stadium is served by Bus Eireann Public Bus. The 202 and 212 bus routes are the closest to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh with a stop in Ballintemple on the Blackrock Road (by the pharmacy). Please remember to respect our local neighbours and avoid parking illegally.
An inner cordon will operate on the roads around the stadium by An Garda Síochána from 11:30am to manage traffic and ensure everyone’s safety.

It is essential to remember that no tickets will be available for purchase at the venue, so ensure to secure your tickets in advance. Once you’ve purchased your ticket, make sure to print it out or download it onto your phone and have it ready to scan upon entry.
