Fixtures Update – GAA Hurling U20 Hurling Final

To ensure conclusion of the process related to the drafting of the statutory instrument currently required for hosting larger attendances at our fixtures during the pandemic, the GAA confirms that Tuesday evening’s scheduled GAA Hurling U20 Championship final meeting of Cork and Galway in Thurles has been pushed back by 24 hours.

The fixture will now throw-in at 7.30 on Wednesday August 18 at the same venue. 

Tickets purchased for the original fixture will be valid for the new date.

The fixture will be broadcast live on TG4.

After yesterday’s great win, we await information from Croke Park in relation to tickets. As soon as we receive clarity, we will be in touch with clubs with details. It is not envisage that tickets will be on general sale for the final.

NO postal applications are to be made to the Cork GAA office for tickets for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final. Members of the public are asked to refrain from sending cheques and cash payments to the Cork GAA office. Any payments will be processed online.

Cork Minor Hurlers will play Waterford in Munster Final

Cork will play Waterford in the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship Final on Monday August 9th at 7:30pm in Semple Stadium Thurles.

The team to play Munster Final will be announced on Sunday at 9pm on www.gaacork.ie 

Ticket Information

The maximum capacity for this game is 4,400.

Tickets are €10 each and every one attending the game will need a ticket. There are no concessions available. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
