We are excited to bring together representatives from three of Cork GAA’s Healthy Clubs. Each speaker will share their club’s experiences and how they have implemented the Healthy Club initiative. We look forward to hearing their inspiring stories and ideas that can be transferred to other clubs.
The Bystander Intervention programme at UCC forms part of a strategic response to the issues of sexual misconduct and violence among student populations. The blended-learning approach of the Bystander Intervention programme seeks to not only enhance knowledge and understanding of these issues but also to lead to attitude and behavioral change across the university. – The programme is led by Professor Louise Crowley of the School of Law, UCC.
We are so excited to have Sinead Crowley join us to speak about the incredible Midleton All-Stars Programme! The Magpies All-Stars initiative is an amazing programme that has been making a real difference in the community by providing GAA coaching to children with additional needs.
Former Cork Camogie and Cork City soccer player Clare Shine as our guest speaker. We know it will be an inspiring and enlightening experience to hear about her recent journey, including her decision to live her life sober and happy. We are sure it was a difficult decision to make and applaud Claire for her courage and strength. We hope to learn more about how she was able to keep a positive attitude, even when circumstances changed in an instant.
