The Co-Op Superstores Premier Senior Hurling Championship reaches the knockout stages this Sunday, with three quarter-final fixtures taking place across Mallow and Midleton.
The group stages saw Charleville and Kanturk finish top of their respective groups, with Sarsfields and Glen Rovers progressing as runners-up. Imokilly joined the County Championship following their success in the Divisional/Colleges section, while Midleton have already secured their place in the County Semi-Final.

Championship Semi-Final Fixtures Confirmed
The next round of Cork GAA championship action has been confirmed, with a busy weekend of semi-final fixtures scheduled across the county from Friday, October 2nd to Sunday, October 4th.
The weekend gets underway on Friday evening when Sarsfields face Aghada in the Intermediate A Hurling Championship semi-final at 7.30pm in Carrigtwohill.
Saturday sees a packed programme of knockout action, with five semi-finals taking place across the county. St. Catherine’s meet Barryroe in the Premier Junior Hurling Championship in Ballymaw, while Bandon face Midleton in the Intermediate A Hurling Championship at Church Road.
The two Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-finals will also take place on Saturday afternoon, with Valley Rovers facing Dungourney in Ballyanley and Ballincollig meeting Carrigaline in Ovens.
There will be a double-header of Senior A Hurling Championship semi-finals at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday evening. Blarney take on Carrigtwohill at 5.15pm before Erin’s Own face Watergrasshill at 7pm.
Sunday sees three further semi-finals, including another double-header at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Kanturk meet St. Finbarr’s at 2pm in the Premier Senior Hurling Championship, followed by the meeting of Midleton and Glen Rovers at 3.45pm.
The weekend’s championship action concludes in Coachford at 3pm on Sunday when Kilshannig face Argideen Rangers in the Premier Junior Hurling Championship semi-final.

Super Sunday- Massive day of hurling in Premier Senior Championship
A dramatic Sunday of championship hurling saw Kanturk produce a historic victory over holders Sarsfields, while Glen Rovers and St Finbarr’s also booked their places in the Co-Op Superstores Premier SHC semi-finals.
There was also extra-time drama in the Co-Op Superstores Senior A Hurling Championship as Watergrasshill overcame Ballinhassig in a thrilling quarter-final at Ovens.
Sunday Results
Kanturk make history
Kanturk produced one of the results of the championship at Mallow, defeating reigning champions Sarsfields to reach the Premier SHC semi-finals for the first time.
Two first-half goals helped Kanturk establish a 2-8 to 0-10 interval lead. Sarsfields reduced the deficit after the restart, but a superb goal from Colin Walsh restored Kanturk’s advantage as the Duhallow side held on for a three-point victory.
Brian O’Sullivan finished with 0-10, while Walsh contributed 1-4. Kanturk will now face St Finbarr’s in the last four.
Barrs through to last four
St Finbarr’s produced a strong second-half display to overcome Imokilly by 1-24 to 1-13.
William Buckley led the scoring with 0-7, while Damien Cahalane struck a superb first-half goal. The Barrs then pulled clear after the interval, outscoring Imokilly by 0-10 to 0-3 during a decisive third-quarter spell.
The victory sets up a semi-final meeting with Kanturk.
Glen return to semi-finals
Glen Rovers secured their first Premier SHC semi-final appearance in five years with a 2-22 to 1-20 victory over Charleville.
Two first-half goals from Simon Kennefick and Patrick Horgan helped the Glen turn an early Charleville lead into a 2-10 to 0-11 half-time advantage.
Patrick Horgan finished with 1-12 as Glen Rovers held off a late Charleville fightback to book a semi-final against Midleton.
