Championship Draws 2026

The draws for the 2026 Cork County Championships were completed at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with pairings confirmed from the Premier Senior Hurling Championship right through to the Premier Junior Football Championship.

The event set the stage for another exciting year of club action across the county, with teams now knowing the path they must take in the race for championship honours.

Championship Season 2026 Starts Tuesday!


GAA fans across Cork are gearing up for the official start of the 2026 club championship season! The highly anticipated Cork County Championship Draws will take place this Tuesday night at 6:30 pm ahead of the County Convention.

You will be able to watch below.

The event will be streamed live on Cork GAA website, allowing supporters and club members across the globe to follow the action as it happens.

The draws will encompass all major club championships, setting the groups for the 2026 season across both codes. The draws will include:

Co-op Superstores Premier JHC 2025 Semi-Final Preview

This weekend, the semi-finals of the Co-op Superstores Premier JHC will take place, with Glen Rovers facing Cloughduv on Friday, October 3rd at 7:30 PM in Páirc Uí Rinn, and Kilbrittain taking on Ballygarvan on Saturday, October 4th at 4:00 PM in Minane Bridge. Both matches promise exciting action as the four teams battle for a place in the county final. Below is a summary of each team’s journey to the semi-finals.

Semi-Final 1: Glen Rovers vs Cloughduv

Venue: Páirc Uí Rinn | Time: Friday, October 3rd, 7:30 PM

Glen Rovers’ Path

Glen Rovers have been in fine form throughout the championship. They began with a narrow win over St Catherines, 1-14 (17) to 0-15 (15), before a draw with St Finbarrs, 2-15 (21) to 1-18 (21), showcased their resilience. They finished the group stages strongly with a comprehensive victory over Meelin, 1-25 (28) to 0-18 (18). Their strong performance earned them a bye directly into the semi-finals, skipping the quarter-finals.

Cloughduv’s Path

Cloughduv started with a dominant win over Nemo Rangers, 3-20 (29) to 0-17 (17). A tight contest with Kilbrittain in Round 2 saw them fall narrowly, 2-17 (23) to 1-17 (20), but they bounced back with a convincing victory over Barryroe, 1-25 (28) to 1-9 (12). In the quarter-finals, they defeated Argideen Rangers, 3-18 (27) to 1-14 (17), booking their place in the semi-final against Glen Rovers.

Kilbrittain’s Path

Kilbrittain began their championship campaign with a win over Barryroe, 0-22 (22) to 1-15 (18). They suffered a setback in Round 2, losing narrowly to Cloughduv, 2-17 (23) to 1-17 (20), but came back strongly in Round 3 with a big win over Nemo Rangers, 3-19 (28) to 1-10 (13). Their performance in the group stages earned them a bye into the semi-finals, skipping the quarter-finals.

  • Round 1: Kilbrittain 0-22 – 1-15 Barryroe ✅

  • Round 2: Kilbrittain 1-17 – 2-17 Cloughduv ❌

Ballygarvan’s Path

Ballygarvan started strong with a win over Milford, 1-23 (26) to 0-20 (20), before losing narrowly to Tracton, 1-14 (17) to 1-18 (21). They bounced back in Round 3 with a victory over Argideen Rangers, 0-26 (26) to 2-14 (20), securing a place in the quarter-finals. There, they edged past St Catherines in a thrilling contest, 1-18 (21) to 1-17 (20), to reach the semi-finals against Kilbrittain.
