Co-Op Superstores Premier SHC – Round 3 Results Round-Up

Round 3 of the Co-Op Superstores Premier Senior Hurling Championship delivered another afternoon of high-quality action, with six games producing plenty of talking points as the race for the knockout stages intensifies.

Kanturk produced the standout result, overcoming Blackrock 2-27 to 2-16, while Sarsfields maintained their strong position with a 3-22 to 1-19 victory over Douglas.

There was also a convincing win for Glen Rovers, who defeated Fr O’Neill’s 1-24 to 3-12.

Midleton edged a close contest with Bride Rovers, winning 2-15 to 2-13, while Newtownshandrum got the better of Charleville 1-21 to 1-17.

In the final game, Newcestown recorded an impressive 0-21 to 1-18 victory over St Finbarrs.

With the group stages now moving towards their conclusion, every score and every point could prove crucial in determining who advances to the knockout stages.

Round 3 of the Co-Op Superstores Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship produced another fascinating set of results, with several tight contests and plenty of points on offer as the group stages move towards the knockout phase.

Ballincollig maintained their strong challenge with a 2-17 to 1-16 victory over Aghabullogue, while Éire Óg recorded a solid 0-16 to 0-09 win over Bishopstown.

There was a high-scoring encounter in Páirc Uí Rinn where Carrigaline came out on top against Kilworth, winning 4-24 to 5-15.

Lisgoold claimed the points in the East Cork derby, overcoming Cloyne 2-18 to 1-13.

Dungourney produced an impressive performance to defeat Castlemartyr 4-16 to 2-17, while Ballymartle edged a thrilling finish against Valley Rovers, winning 0-21 to 0-20.
