SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh looks forward to welcoming supporters from Cork and Tipperary ahead of a big evening of hurling action at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with an Under 20 Hurling Challenge followed by a senior Allianz Hurling League Division 1A fixture under lights.

The senior game will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2 as part of Super Saturday,  it will also be broadcast on RTE 1 and C103FM with updates on REDfm.

An Garda Síochána have issued the following traffic and access update for supporters attending Saturday’s Allianz Hurling League fixture at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

🚧 Road Closures

Roads closed from 3:00 PM – 9:30 PM (approx.)
Access for residents only:

  • Ardfoyle Avenue
  • Park Avenue
  • Maryville / Blackrock Road
  • Monahan’s Road / Marquee Road
  • Centre Park Road / Marquee Road
  • Boreenmanna Road / Churchyard Lane
  • Blackrock Road / Churchyard Lane
  • Boreenmanna Road / Crab Lane
  • Blackrock Road / Crab Lane (residents only)

Roads closed from 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM (approx.):

  • Centre Park Road at Victoria Road Roundabout
  • Monahan Road at Victoria Road Junction (Circle K)

The largest volumes of pedestrians exiting the stadium are expected between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

🚶 Stadium Walking Routes

  • From Cork City Centre: Access via Centre Park Road and Monahan Road (approx. 15-minute walk)
  • From Boreenmanna Road: Access via Churchyard Lane, Blackrock Road and Maryville (approx. 10-minute walk)

Please note: Due to current roadworks on Maryville, there will be no vehicular access.

🚌 Public Transport

  • Route 202 (Holyhill – Mahon Point): Departs Merchant’s Quay approximately every 20 minutes. Travels via Blackrock Road with stops in Ballintemple (2-minute walk to stadium).
  • Route 212 (Kent Station – Mahon Point): Departs Kent Station every hour on the half hour. Will divert via Blackrock Road with a stop across from Longboats Pub (2-minute walk to stadium).

🚗 Travelling by Car

From the West:
Use the South Ring Road (N40). Take the Mahon/Blackrock exit (Junction 10), turn left onto Skehard Road towards Boreenmanna Road. Use legal and available parking only.

From the North:
Use the North Ring Road (N20). Supporters are advised to park in the city centre and walk or use public transport.

From the East:
Use the Jack Lynch Tunnel (N40). Take the Mahon/Blackrock exit (Junction 10), turn left onto Skehard Road towards Boreenmanna Road. Use legal and available parking only.

Supporters are encouraged to consider train or bus links from Midleton, Glounthaune, and Little Island, where free parking is available.

  • Very limited parking available adjacent to the stadium
  • Vehicles parked illegally will be dealt with by Gardaí

Please do not block: housing estate entrances, business premises, parks, footpaths, disabled spaces, or bus stops.

  • Coaches and buses should park on Boreenmanna Road facing the South City Link Road

  • Taxis: Drop-off area available at Marquee Road / Monahan Road junction up to 6:30 PM

This workshop is ideal for coaches working with football teams from U13 to U18. It is designed to enhance coaching skills using a games-based approach, while also emphasizing the importance of developing strong bilateral skills in youth players—helping them improve their performance at both club and county levels.

Cork GAA Mascots Shine at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh

Cork GAA Mascots enjoyed a memorable matchday experience recently at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, proudly leading out the Cork teams at both the Cork v Cavan and Cork v Waterford fixtures.

At the games, the mascots were delighted to take centre stage as they walked out ahead of the Cork players, creating unforgettable moments for all involved and adding to the colour and excitement of matchday in the Páirc.

Ahead of the Cork v Cavan clash, Cork GAA Mascots, in association with Sports Direct, were warmly welcomed to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh by Cork Football Captain Ian Maguire, making the day even more special as they prepared to lead the team out in front of the Cork supporters.

Meanwhile, before the Cork v Waterford game, the mascots were greeted by Cork hurler Tim O’Mahony, adding to the excitement of the occasion at the stadium.

Cork GAA would like to thank Sports Direct for their continued support of the Mascot Programme and for helping to create unforgettable matchday memories.

It’s a Super Sunday of Allianz League action at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, as Cork begin their 2026 campaigns in both football and hurling.

First up, the Cork footballers take on Cavan in the Allianz Football League, followed by the Cork hurlers facing Waterford in the Allianz Hurling League.
