The Irish Life GAA Healthy Club National Conference 2022 is this Saturday, November 12th. This is the last call for registrations for that event. Former Armagh footballer, Oisin McConville, believes the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs programme is playing a valuable role in destigmatising mental health issues in Ireland. McConville will be the keynote speaker at the 2022 Irish Life GAA Healthy Club Conference in Croke Park on Saturday, November 12, when the conference theme will be ‘Living our Values’.

Job Posting – Games Development Manager, Cork GAA

Cork GAA in conjunction with Munster GAA wish to recruit a Games Development Manager to be responsible for the implementation of GAA Games Development Policy in County Cork, by developing and delivering a comprehensive Games Development Plan on an annual basis.

Memorial to Timothy ‘Ted’ Downey erected in Glasnevin Cemetery

A new headstone has been unveiled at Glasnevin Cemetery in memory of Timothy ‘Ted’ Downey. Downey was one of the highest profile Gaelic footballers of his day, having the distinction of winning All-Ireland titles with two different counties. Cork (Midleton) in 1890, and Dublin (CJ Kickhams) in 1897.

The memorial was unveiled at Glasnevin on Tuesday 8th November 2022 by Uachtarán CLG Larry McCarthy, with the ceremony being attended by representatives of Ballymun Kickhams, John Fenton (Midleton GAA), Mick Seavers (Dublin GAA Chairman), Pat Horgan (Vice-Chairperson Cork GAA), Marc Sheehan (Chairperson Cork GAA).

 

All-Ireland Scór Sinsir Final 2022

This Saturday, November 12th sees Kilshannig and Millstreet head to the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar, Co. Mayo for the 2022 All Ireland Scór Sinsir Final.

Millstreet will represent Cork and Munster in Tráth na gCeist after finishing in the top three at the Munster Final while, Kilshannig will fly the County and Provincial flags in Ceol Uirlise. Make sure to buy your tickets at the link below and come to support our fantastic representatives.

Tráth na gCeist Babtha 1, Table Quiz Round will take place in TF Hotel commencing at 11.15am sharp. Registration will take place from 10.45am.The stage part of the Tráth na gCeisteanna will take place onstage immediately after the interval during the stage competitions.

Stage competitions will commence at 2pm sharp in the TF Royal Theatre,
