County Final – Cloughduv V Dungourney IAHC, Courcey Rovers V Fr O’Neills SAHC

It’s’ THE FINAL

This Sunday, the finals of the Senior ‘A’ hurling championship and Intermediate ‘A’ are down for decision. 

All you need to know about the games are below.

The opening game of the day will be Co-Op Superstores Intermediate ‘A’ Hurling Final with Cloughduv meeting Dungourney. This game will start at 2pm. Cloughduv’s last County success came in 2018 when they claimed the Junior ‘A’ title while Dungourney also last County success was in2015 when they also won the Junior title.

When | Sunday 9th October 2022

How |  Cloughduv won all three games in their group and beat Lisgoold in the County Semi-Final. Dungourney finished second in their group, with two wins and one loss. In the Q-Final they beat Midleton and booked their final place with a win over Sarsfields 

Referee for the final will be Pat Lyons, Bishopstown

At half-time in Co-Op Superstores Intermediate ‘A’ Hurling Final, a Mini-game between the two clubs will take place. 

 

 

The Co-Op Superstores Senior ‘A’ Hurling Final between Courcey Rovers and  Fr O’Neills will start at 4pm. Courcey’s are seeking back to back County Titles after winning Premier Intermediate title in 2021 while Fr.O’Neills are back in the final for the second year in-a-row

How |  Fr.O’Neills topped their group and booked a Semi-Final place with three wins at the group stages. In the Semi-Final they beat Bride Rovers to book their place in the final. Courcey’s had two wins in the group stages and beat Ballyhea in Q-Final and Fermoy in Semi-Final. 

Referee for the final will be Ciarán O’Regan, Ballyhea
