Cork GAA mourns the passing of Tadhg Drinan RIP
THE Cork GAA community is mourning one of its most loyal and well-regarded sons following the death of Timothy (Tadhgy) Drinan late of Ballyhea, Boreenmanna Road and St Finbarr’s NHFC.
A dyed-in-the-wool GAA Gael, Tadhgy loved our games and served his club, division and county with passionate fervour.
A victorious three-in-row Cork minor football selector, and involved with a succession of Barrs underage/minor teams, he started many a club and county hurler and footballer on their playing paths.
He served with the Seandún and County Boards and did untold work re programme selling at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, fundraising as well as behind the scenes for the Barrs. He will be sadly missed by all involved in Cork GAA…ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
