The Páirc Uí Chaoimh “Performance Camp” is a fun based developmental training camp for Hurlers and Footballers born in 2006 and 2007 and will run from June 28th to July 2nd.
The primary objective of the Camp is to expose the players to age appropriate “best practice” training and education across the big pillars of performance which include Hurling and Football Core Skills, Athletic Development, Performance Psychology and Health and Lifestyle Education.
The Camp content is designed by the High Performance Manager, Games Manager and Football Co-Ordinator and will be delivered by expert Coaches and Practitioners who work across the various Intercounty Teams and Rebel Óg Squads.
The Camp costs €200 with early bird offer of €160 per player and will operate from 8.45am to 1.15pm each day.
Skill Development and Assessment of the Core Technical Skills in Football and Hurling including left and right striking skills, defending and contesting skills.
Athletic Development and Assessment in Speed, Agility, Strength and Injury Prevention.
Lifestyle Skills Education in Nutrition, Sleep, Recovery and Time Management.
Performance Psychology Education in Leadership, Teamwork, Confidence and Control.
Social Skills Development through fun social group activities.
Expert Coaching and Education across the fundamental pillars of performance.
Daily Guest Speakers including Coaches, Players, Performance Psychologist, Nutritionist and Athletic Development Coaches selected from the various Intercounty Teams.

Post Camp each player will receive a Developmental Report based off their Speed, Power, Movement, Fitness and Technical Skills Tests.
Post Camp each player will receive an 8-week Athletic Development Program as a follow up to camp.
Post Camp Parents and Players will receive a Digital summary of the week including educational content, guest speaker presentations, Athletic Development exercises and coaching videos on the core Psychological and Hurling and Football Skills.
