Draw for Tom Creedon Cup takes place

The Tom Creedon Cup 2021 was launched on Thursday 20th May in the Castle Grounds Macroom. The competition is a fitting tribute to Tom who tragically passed away in 1983.
Tom graced the field at every level for Macroom and Cork until his untimely passing and both Conor Counihan and Colman Corrigan who are ambassadors for this year’s competition spoke of the esteem in which they hold his memory and how they were delighted to see this great competition live on and get stronger every year.
Tom Creedon Junior and Tom’s late wife Marian were also in attendance at the launch, and Tom Junior speaking on behalf of the Creedon family thanked the Macroom club for continuing to so proudly honour his memory and that he looks forward every year to the competition which honours his father.
